The North Staffordshire Warm Zone assessment team visit all privately owned homes asking housholders to complete a short questionnaire. If you are not in at that time then our assessors will leave a self-assessment form for you to complete.

Your information is kept in strict confidence and used to determine if you are eligible for free measures or discounted measures. If you requested any of our other free services such as low energy light bulbs, then these will be sent out to you.

Once we have processed your assessment form we can determine if your home requires insulation. If it does then we will contact you to arrange a free home survey. A North Staffordshire Warm Zone surveyor will visit your home and check that the loft and walls in your property are suitable for insulation measures.

Once the survey has been completed and your property is found to be suitable for loft or cavity wall insulation, our contractors will contact you to arrange a date for the work to be completed if you wish to proceed. Our contractors are well established companies who employ fully qualified staff to insulate your home.
