North Staffordshire Warm Zone is a home insulation scheme set up to make private homes in Stoke on Trent and Newcastle under Lyme affordably warm and energy efficient. Our aim is to help local residents cut their fuel bills and save money by providing free grants for cavity wall and loft insulation.
The zone is a dynamic partnership backed by Stoke on Trent City Council, Newcastle under Lyme Borough Council, and Scottish Power. It utilises funding to provide free home insulation for any resident wishing to improve the energy efficiency of their home and especially those residents who need help because they live in cold homes or find it hard to keep their home affordably warm.
North Staffordshire Warm Zone, a sub-division of Warm Zones CIC launched in 2007. The zone has been highly effective in helping thousands of householders across North Staffordshire improve the energy performance of their homes.
Warm Zones CIC is a not-for-profit organisation operated by National Energy Action, the leading fuel poverty charity.
